How long is the appointment?
Your first session for permanent brows is approximately 2 hours long. Top up appointments (6-10 weeks later) are usually around an hour.
Does it hurt?
You will be given numbing cream at your consultation to be used before you come in for your appointments. This will take any initial discomfort away and you are then numbed throughout the treatment. Its very comfortable and a lot of clients actually fall asleep!
Will my brows be dark?
Initially, yes. Once your brows have been perfected and finished, your skin will start its healing process. The day after your treatment, your brows will appear darker and bigger than when initially done. But over the next 4-5 days the skin will gently flake away and you will be left with a much lighter colour underneath.
How long is the healing period?
Your brows have to go through a process of healing, which usually takes between 10-14 days. In this time period, your brows go on a bit of a journey! They will darken, then become patchy. Once all the skin has flaked off you are left with a lighter, softer and slightly smaller shape underneath.
How long will my cosmetic brows last for?
Generally, most peoples brows will last 18 months - 2 years. We want the pigment to have faded by at least 50-60% before we top up your colour again.
